The Wetland Nature Reserve Punta Tuna in Maunabo, Puerto Rico is unique not only because of the abundance of nature that lives or visits the place, but because the site is enabled for blind, deaf or people with disabilities which can also enjoy the scenery . The reserve extends over the southeast coast of Puerto Rico and contains three kinds of wetlands, as well as a beach about two kilometers long, home to dozens of species of birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, insects, fish, crabs and plants, among others. Biologists have identified 56 species of birds on the site, which is managed by the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DNER) and the Committee for the Development of Maunabo
